Redefining our understanding of miracles
August 13th, 2004 by Dr Perry

Getting straight to the point, miracles may be more natural than you may have thought. What do you define as a miracle? Something out of the ordinary? Something unexplained by science? Something that does not ever happen…IE, you just don’t believe in miracles?

The Messiah was born of a virgin, and that was a miracle.

The very important point to realize is that, a miracle can be explained by science. This is because- miracles are from God. Nature is Gods miracle. Science only explains nature, Gods miraculous way. Nature is a miracle. Our respiration, think about it. Slow down as you breath. Take the breaths slowly, feel yourself breathing, see how intense an act it is. Now ponder on how you usually subconsciously take in that air and release the other air, ‘external respiration’. Think about all the complex miraculous things that naturally happen to the air you breath at microscopic levels, things explained and yet not fully explained by the most complex science. The air diffuses across your alveolar walls, through capillary walls, then through blood cell membranes into the cells, then a series of chemical interlinked mechanisms occur as the constituents of the air are transported round the body to your farthest toe, reactions in ‘internal respiration’, the very vital respiration you don’t know about. Next, unwanted ‘air’ or waste is sent out through a similar process and you exhale. Simple, yet completely complicated. You are the most elaborate scientific laboratory ever possible. You conduct the most difficult set of delicate chemical, physical and mathematical reactions by all standards.

Indeed Nature is a miracle. And though science attempts to explain the miracles of Nature, they are still as good miracles as any other. A miracle does not necessarily mean impossible, nature actually is impossible. Every miracle is possible, as possible as nature.

So, the very important point to realize here, is that science does not explain miracles away, and the possibility of science explaining a miracle does not take away from the miracle, because the miracle of the inspiration that is science and the miracle of the ability of humans to use their ‘natural’ scientific miraculous ability to research (Research is a process of studying the Researched=Lord) and categorize the miracles of God through his Nature in nature, does not take away from or contest the miraculous nature of all events. Indeed ‘ordinary’ is a miracle, because the maintenance of the natural perfect balance that ‘ordinary’ provides is a great miracle in itself. Motion is a miracle and stillness is a miracle. All leafs on trees perfectly balance out with the world. The perfect balance is maintained in a miracle of nature, balanced by the Calibrator (Lord).

Now, that I explain that virgin Births are possible, in a process called ‘pathogenesis’, described in this WashingtonPost article- ‘it takes one to tango‘, as occurring in the human population statistically at 1 per 10,000,000 does not take away from the miracle birth of the Messiah. It only allows skeptics and confused people to understand that virgin births are possible and so, the miracle virgin birth of the Messiah did happen.

Appreciate miracles, you are them.
